Description

Acoustic Roots Duo and eclectic Musical Explorers, Mambo Jambo are a truly unique two-piece performing along with ther own compositions, their upbeat mash up of styles, with elements of roots, world, folk and jazz. 

With Frankie on sax, vocals, clarinet, flute, guitar and percussion and Pete on guitar, vocal, ukulele, tres (traditional Cuban guitar), banjo, accordion and between them all kinds of percussion including suitcase and spoons!
Pete and Frankie have been gathering admirers at shows and festivals the length and breadth of the country. A fabulous uplifting musical treat is in store wherever they roll up, their tour bus packed to the brim!

Pete and Frankie have appeared on various BBC Local Radio shows, BBC Look North, the BBC Symphony for Yorkshire and MTV Asia. They’ve played gigs in Havana, toured France, Ireland and Sweden, and festivals in Shetland, Borneo and Portugal.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • There is no parking available directly outside the Hall or on Frog Lane. Frog Lane is very narrow and parked cars may block access for emergency vehicles and our neighbours.  
  • The Hall is situated in a residential area, so we ask that noise is kept to a minimum and is vacated by midnight.
